Shailendra leads strategy and execution of the Cricket Marketing operation, including brand, advertising, sponsorship, acquisition, retention strategy, product management, merchandising, multicultural marketing, integrated marketing, and field marketing.
He most recently served as the VPGM for Fido, a Canadian wireless brand under Rogers Communications. In his seven years with the company, he led the carrier through one of its largest ever growth phases, quadrupling their new customer acquisitions along the way.
Prior to that, he spent 10 years with T-Mobile, where he launched GoSmart Mobile, a prepaid fighter brand and Univision Mobile - the first wireless brand built specifically for Hispanic Americans.
Shailendra holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai, as well as Masters of Business Administration from the University of Delhi and Indiana University.
Outside of work he enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling with his wife Sonali. They have two daughters, Anjali and Amrita.
