Customers on the Supreme Unlimited ($60/mo.), Smart Unlimited ($50/mo.) and Select Unlimited ($40/mo.) Plans are automatically enrolled in Cricket's Mexico and Canada International Long Distance Calling and Texting.  

Cricket’s International country calling and MMS text feature can be added as a monthly recurring charge starting at $10/mo. on the Supreme Unlimited ($60/mo.), Smart Unlimited ($50/mo.) and Select Unlimited ($40/mo.) plans. See details. Individual country calling plans include:

• A set amount of calling minutes from the U.S. to landlines and mobile phones in the country you select.

Cricket plans starting with the Smart Unlimited ($50/mo.) plan and above include roaming  in Mexico and Canada.  

You can use your service in Mexico and Canada without needing a new SIM card. Just turn on your Cricket phone and enjoy seamless data usage to post on social media, text, call and check emails. Primary use must occur in the U.S. All calls, texts and data usage cannot exceed 50% of the total usage.

*Calls and messages from the U.S. to Northern Territories of Canada are not included.

Yes. Once your monthly calling minutes have been used, you can add more minutes using the one-time charge option.

The International Calling feature allows you to pay for a certain number of minutes to call from the U.S. to 200+ counties and territories around the globe.

Roaming in Mexico and Canada: 
Cricket plans starting with the Smart Unlimited ($50/mo.) plan and above include roaming in Mexico and Canada. This means you can use your phone when you visit vacation destinations or family in Mexico or Canada. Careful though, calls, texts and data use while in Canada need to stay under 50% of your total usage in a 3-month period or you risk service being suspended. Primary phone usage must be in the U.S.

Currently, Hotspot Data is available in Mexico and Canada. 

• Dial the + sign or 011 + Destination Country Code + Number. This is required for all countries.
• For most devices, the + sign appears by pressing and holding down the 0 key.
• If you don't know the code for the country you're trying to call, you can look up the country code online.

No, you won't be charged for calls you receive in the U.S.

You'll receive a message letting you know the place you're trying to call hasn't been added to your Cricket International Calling feature.

No, you won't be able to forward your number to numbers outside of the U.S.

You can view your usage here or signing in the myCricket App. You will also hear a tone 30 seconds before the allotted minutes expire and your call is disconnected.

You can change your international calling feature at any time.
